All,

Please support and assist in some things the Elders wish to implement.....

As we enact these precautions we are focused on the health and safety of all church members.

  1. Enlarge the cleaning scope for all facilities, especially door handles, restrooms, and other touch points
  2. Ensure ongoing communication to members relating precautions and plans
  3. Encourage and remind members to follow common sense practices such as, 'if you are sick stay home'; 'avoid hand contact touching'; frequent and thorough hand washing
  4. Provide Purell anti-bacterial cleaning at each entrance
  5. Revise communion pattern to avoid passing trays by utilizing individual packaging (Deacons to coordinate)
  6. Establish communication with Roane County Health Department for updates and related COVID-19 information
  7. Follow Jamestowne directives for access to our Members there

Above all, stay in prayer, check on others, keep the faith, our God is great!

God bless!

Scott

* Today we have brother Jon Hackett preaching a sermon for us. He is a youth & family minister from Gulf Shores, Alabama. He has 25 years experience working in the church both domestically and overseas.  He studied at Abilene Christian University and University of South Alabama.  He has been married to his wife, Rachel, since 1996, and has two daughters, Emily (20) and Catherine (15).  Please give them a warm welcome, and join us for a catered lunch after the service today in the Family Life Center.  After the lunch we will head back to the auditorium for a Q/A session.

A big “thank you” to everyone that helped out during the Christmas Parade on Monday night.  Melody Austin’s Girl Scouts were a wonderful help.  We served over 150 cups of cocoa.
