June 10, 2020 updates

* Emily Denton Beatty baby's shower is June 13th from 10-12 at Laurie Denton's.  They are registered at Target, Amazon and Buy Buy Baby.  They do not know the sex of the baby.

* Jackson Igou:June 8: We had a little setback last night. Jackson was still vomiting a lot and having a lot of pain and going to the bathroom very frequently. I called Vandy and the on call doc called and said he wasn't sure why he was vomiting and that we should go to the local ER and get fluids and bloodwork done. He is barely eating but is trying to drink to stay hydrated but he can't seem to keep up. Of course his tests came back fine (just like always). He did get fluids and some morphine for pain before they sent him home. We immediately started reaching out to the Mayo Clinic. This has gone on for so long and our boy needs relief and answers. Amazingly there was an opening for a GI appt. this Thursday. Yes, this Thursday! Yikes! This will be at the Mayo in Jacksonville, FL. We are scrambling to find plane tickets (it's too far to drive with Jackson's frequent bathroom stops). Josh is going to go with him this time since I have been doing the past few months by myself during the virus. Please say prayers for the tests to go well and Jackson to remain calm. (He is tired of being poked and prodded) Pray for answers to his pain and solutions that will help him get relief. I believe Jackson will be better. I believe God opened a door for him to go to Mayo to get answers. #prayforj

March 15, 2020

All,

Please support and assist in some things the Elders wish to implement.....

As we enact these precautions we are focused on the health and safety of all church members.

  1. Enlarge the cleaning scope for all facilities, especially door handles, restrooms, and other touch points
  2. Ensure ongoing communication to members relating precautions and plans
  3. Encourage and remind members to follow common sense practices such as, 'if you are sick stay home'; 'avoid hand contact touching'; frequent and thorough hand washing
  4. Provide Purell anti-bacterial cleaning at each entrance
  5. Revise communion pattern to avoid passing trays by utilizing individual packaging (Deacons to coordinate)
  6. Establish communication with Roane County Health Department for updates and related COVID-19 information
  7. Follow Jamestowne directives for access to our Members there

Above all, stay in prayer, check on others, keep the faith, our God is great!

God bless!

Scott
