Meet our Minister & Staff
Matthew began his ministry in 2002 as the Youth Minister at the Second Creek Church of Christ in Savannah, TN. In 2009 he married the love of his life, Blair and also accepted the Youth Minister position at the Central Church of Christ in McMinnville, TN. In 2010 Matthew and Blair added a new baby girl, Collins, to their family. In 2011 Matthew accepted the Preaching Minister position at the Hoxie Church of Christ in Hoxie, AR. In 2014 they would add a second blessing to their family in their son, Vance. Matthew began his ministry here in Kingston on January 1, 2016. They welcomed their third bundle of joy, Britton, in June of 2017. We are blessed to have Matthew, Blair, and their family join us at Kingston.

Tom began his ministry, at the Kingston Church, in October of 2018. Prior to his move to Kingston in 2010, Tom served as a teacher, activities director, and swim coach at Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN. Tom is married to Emily who grew up in the Kingston Church and they have a son, Rivers.
Interesting Fact: Tom has coached swimmers that have competed in the Olympics!!!
Blair began her ministry, at the Kingston Church, in November of 2018. Blair has had ten years of hands on ministry experience in everything from teaching, leading ladies Bible studies, planning children’s events, painting classrooms, creating class curriculum plans, community outreach and much more. Blair is a cosmetologist and works locally in Kingston. She loves the personal one on one interaction she has with her clients on a daily basis. She is also involved in the local elementary school. She is married to Matthew and has three beautiful children.
Shawn has served as the office admin. since December of 2017. He has been a part of the Kingston Church family for 30 years. He grew up in Harriman and join the Air Force right after high school graduation. In 2015, at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, Shawn retired from the USAF after 27 years of service which included stations in Turkey, Iraq, UAE, Italy, London, France and Germany.
Shawn is married to Deena (Walcott) Scalf and has two grown children Carlee and Nash.
